Here are some pictures of the set-up I used when playing through Cry of the Inner Child. I also used it when recording the sound file. As everyone who has ever played a multiple percussion piece knows there are usually many ways to organise the instruments and if you find another way to set up this piece you are very welcome to send a picture or other description to pmlg. Send to: marcus.hedenfalk@comhem.se or fax to +4640 59 72 27 (in Sweden 040 59 72 27)

(Above) Two photos pasted together for an overview of the set-up. Bongos/Congas and suspended cymbals are numbered in order of pitch (nr1 is highest.) Cowbells are mounted in the same order as the temple blocks. The low brake drum is the one closest to the tambourine.

(Above) Side view of set-up while recording. The small foldable music stand that substitutes the larger ones was useful during studying the piece as it is small enough to fit in the space just above the brake drum on the right. This was helpful for practising the temple block bars on page 2 in the score.
